Christmas Star & Decorated HomeI had client who hired me to capture their home adorned for the holiday...the Christmas star just appeared, as if by magic...or Photoshop. If you think the home is beautiful from the outside, you should see the inside and feel the warmth and love that live there. It was a beautiful night, this one...I loved this little assignment.
Landscape GaloreAnother gorgeous home in Frontenac, MO. The landscaping is to die for. This is over the Christmas Holiday, you can see the tree in the window.
Lit For the Season So many places to gather here - this is just one. To my back here is the "kitchen" grill, bar with stools, etc...all in stone, so well done.
There's More Beyond the ShotJust to the right of and behind the firepit is a gushing (more than babbling, anyway) stream, series of waterfalls and koi pond. I'll have to add an image of that feature, too.
Seating Area #??Yet another great view and spot to sit.
The Outdoor Ballroom The beautiful glass balls were custom made for this spot...the owner obviously has great flare and taste!
What Chill?Okay, yes this is nice, and so I'm told, used almost every day of the year; and why not!
Ballroom View The dining room/ballroom and view towards the pool to the "kitchen" bar and grill area.
From the Pit
Waking up!Same place a few months later.

La Rustique Hotel La Rustique in Quebec about three hours east of Quebec City on the Saint Lawrence River. I was staying in a very old, large home - it sits on a hillside overlooking the river and an old red-roofed house in Sainte-Irène, Quebec.
La Rustique DiningThe food at La Rustique was delicious! Our hostess was wonderful too...tell Diane that Myra said Bonjour and I hope to return someday soon!
LaRustique WelcomeJust off the foyer of the front entrance and lovely porch, this charming sitting room...I hated to leave here.
Saint Lawrence River & SeatingLa Rustique and a piece of the grounds, also our view from our room a floor or two up of the old red-roofed house and the St. Lawrence River below.
Air BnB - BermudaA typical home in Bermuda, this is where I stayed while traveling there just to photograph the Island and our home.
Bermuda HomesteadThis was the home we lived in; my grandparents' home.
John Smith's Bay On John Smith's Bay beach. This is the beach my mom and family considered theirs...it's just down from the blue house.
Built in 1652 - Tom Moore's TavernBuilt in 1652 as a private home, this building in its original state. In 1804 the famous poet Tom Moore moved to Bermuda and to this home. It is now a restaurant and tavern, where many famous and Royals have dined.
A Bit of the History - Tom Moore's Tavern"Walsingham House was for a year the residence of Thomas Moore, the poet. It is a quaint old gabled edifice, standing alone, buried in the dark cedar woods, washed on one side by the sea, and on the other by a tiny salt lake set in a bed of rock. The surface is littered with the dead leaves of mangroves, which spring out of it on their arching stems. The cedars, dead and silvered, or green and living, rise from an impenetrable tangle of fern and brush-wood. How they grow at all is a wonder, for there is no soil, only rock, jagged and sharp as the teeth of a saw. Innumerable fish, rainbow-tinted, dart through the dark waters, and here and there a turtle floats leisurely along." from tommoores.com
